More than 35% of consumers start planning their holiday shopping before the end of October. What does this mean for your business? You should already be planning for the upcoming holiday, ideally having a program outlined before the end of August. This early preparation allows you time to set realistic campaign goals, properly organize content, and ensure that you have all the pieces necessary for a well-rounded program.
We partnered with Tyson Foods to design a campaign to help connect with shoppers in brick and mortar spaces, as well as online. This mix of in person and online interactions with shoppers allows you to reach your current consumers that may already be visiting your business as well as reach out to new or potential shoppers, giving you a balanced multichannel campaign.
First, we designed in-store pieces that can be placed on the deli cases or stand alone in the deli area and throughout the store. By creating multiple in store elements, you create more opportunities for the shopper to see your product and campaign, and increase the potential for a shopper to purchase your product.
Next, we designed different digital content that can be used on multiple social media platforms. By calling out the deli and featuring a plated beauty image, shoppers quickly and easily understand what the promotion is about and where they can purchase the product. No matter if the creative is used in person or online, it is important to maintain consistency in the design throughout all the pieces for a cohesive campaign.
Finally, with social video generating 1200% more shares than text and image content combined and viewers retaining 95% of a video message compared to 10% reading it in text, we created a holiday video showcasing rotisserie chicken. This video educates viewers by showing how rotisserie can be featured in their own celebrations and inspires shoppers on how to create other easy meals at home.
As you can see, an effective campaign can, and should, involve combining multiple marketing tactics. Contact us today for help planning your next holiday program.
