Rebranding doesn’t just redefine the company’s presence, it also influences the customers’ perception about your products or services by revitalizing the brand and making it appear more relevant to the customers’ needs. Rebranding or launching a new look is a difficult process that a lot of businesses struggle with. Here are some ways we helped rebrand and launch a product line for Matalco, a leading producer of high-quality aluminum:
Rebranding
The first step we took was creating a new name for their low carbon product, which we coined “LOCAL”. Since AL is the symbol for aluminum in the periodic table, we figured it was the perfect way to connect the product with the name. We also suggested the name local to highlight their continued focus on their local impact and dedication to those around them. Finally, we left the AL letters in green to give a subtle nod to their “green” initiatives.
In addition, we designed a logo that featured leaves inside of an infinity symbol. This would help emphasize their “green” focus and used an infinity sign to symbolize their dedication to recycling and using materials that are part of their Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
Launch the new look
It was then time to launch the new look. The company hosted a gala during an industry meeting, which was a perfect opportunity to showcase their brand. We designed professional invitations to the event along with custom aluminum gifts in a simple and clean packaging, that were sent out to clients announcing their new brand and kickoff event.
As a result of the implemented rebranding and launch strategies, Matalco had a very successful gala with clients to showcase their new look, confirm their commitment to growth and “green” initiatives, and strengthened the brand.
