Best Practices For Effective Social Media Marketing

    By Catalyst | Uncategorized | Comments are Closed | 15 February, 2023 | 0

With the marketing world changing and evolving every single day, it’s easy to fall behind on the trends that will keep your brand relevant and relatable to your consumers. Here are some helpful tips on how to reach your consumers in innovative and trending ways through your marketing.

    1. Connecting Staff with Consumer

Recognition promotes a sense of trust and reliability in your staff. In all types of businesses, it is important for clients to be able to see your staff on social media and recognize them when they enter your establishment. Ways in which you can include staff on social media could include behind the scenes content/stories, work anniversaries, new hires, and/or get to know us posts. A great example of connecting staff to consumer can be seen through Fort Wayne’s Dermatology + Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics social media accounts.

Another way to get your staff involved in your businesses marketing would be to encourage them to create reels. These reels can be anything from videos of your products, showcasing your services, or behind the scenes footage of the day-to-day operations. Reels are currently favored by the Instagram algorithm, which is more likely to recommend them to people who don’t follow you than feed posts. Utilizing trending sounds and relevant hashtags is also crucial to getting your reels to as many people as possible.

    2. Occasionally Revamp Your Brand

According to Ignyte Brands, “a brand refresh is one of the easiest, most impactful ways you can add new life to your brand—as well as new relevance in the eyes of your customers. Primarily a cosmetic solution, a brand refresh can nonetheless have a powerful, wide-ranging impact.” A brand refresh can mean creating a consistent color scheme throughout your posts, creating a new logo, and/or simplifying your marketing strategies. There are many benefits to a brand refresh, but the main advantage would be that it can create a “buzz” about your business, can increase sales, allow you to raise your prices, improves customer retention, and it attracts top talent. Below is an example of how we helped Fort Wayne Dermatology and Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics refresh their social media news feed with a soft, bright, and modern color palette.

    3. Consistency

Posting consistently throughout the week can seem intimidating, but it is vital for your business to thrive. Staying relevant and on consumers radar is how you stay in business; therefore, posting 2-3 days throughout the week and posting reels as often as you can are trends that the Instagram algorithm is pushing hard. Consistency promotes engagement and fluidity throughout your feed. Regularly posting on social media platforms is important because it increases brand awareness, gives more opportunities to rank in the search engine, improves your conversion rates, encourages brand loyalty, and improves customer satisfaction.
