    Facebook is a go-to for social media advertising, with three million advertisers. Marketers are forking over the cash, billions to be exact, to use Facebook in their ad campaigns.

     

    So how do you make sure your Facebook investment is money well spent?

     

    Target. Targeting can be the trickiest part of setting up an ad on Facebook. Facebook offers many options for targeting: location, age, gender, interests, languages, education, and more. There are many precise interests you can target to help increase your ROI; the key is choosing the right ones. Here at Catalyst, we take a look at your audience and develop the best way to reach your target demographic and yield the best results.

     

    Create. Your creative must be something that will grab your audience’s attention and get them to stop scrolling. You know the basics: beautiful, high quality photos will increase your click-through rate. The content you provide with the image should be short and sweet. 90% of information transmitted to the brain is visual, so stick to a clear call to action.

     

    Analyze. Keeping track of the success of your Facebook ad campaign is the final step. Tracking the performance between your various ads will help you determine the best way to tweak ad spends, targeted audiences, and placement. Depending upon your conversion goals, an outside source, such as Google Analytics, might be your best bet for tracking and analytics.
