Shopping is something we all do. While some love it more than others, everyone shops in some form. Whether going to a store to buy groceries, shopping for new shoes online, or even thinking about the items we want or need, companies and brands are aware and build marketing strategies around that idea. That’s where the concept of shopper marketing comes in. Shopper Marketing focuses on understanding shoppers and using that information to develop marketing campaigns that influence consumers to make a purchase.
Here at Catalyst, we work with clients to develop effective shopper marketing ideas and tactics to reach their targeted customers. These tactics range from developing eye-catching product packaging, strategizing in-store displays, and optimizing digital media advertising.

With what we do, we also like to learn and hear more about new trends in the shopper marketing world. So, a few members of our team headed out to attend the Path to Purchase Expo in Chicago. There were vendors from all over the country that ranged from digital media platforms to in-store programs. We listened to several presenters that spoke on topics like new brand features on Pinterest and storytelling to engage shoppers and drive sales. Tyson presented on how they are telling stories in the deli department and our work was featured in their presentation.
Attending the P2PX along with other conferences helps us to learn new tactics to provide our clients with the best strategies available for their needs.
